Charity Giving 2019 - 2020

Fund Raising

At West Monkton our boys and girls appreciate that not everyone in the world are as lucky or fortunate as them.

Through our well planned curriculum and our strong Christian Values we define our character and ethos and by doing so affect our behaviour, beliefs and actions. They are our guide for living a life that will help all flourish.

West Monkton’s Church School Christian Values are represented by nine words with a clear Biblical underpinning that give purpose, direction and a firm grounding in all we seek to do.

Our nine Christian Values taken from Galatians 5 V22 : ………….the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self control are physically represented around the school as well in our christian giving and hearts.

We are constantly trying to make a difference and many of the Charities we support are chosen by the children.  We have many children in the school who  raise awareness and money  for causes close their hearts.

As a school we actively raise funds throughout each year for those who are less fortunate. This includes national charities such as Children in Need and Red Nose Day as well as charities selected by the children. Children are given the opportunity regularly to fund raise for charities close to their hearts which supports them in demonstrating our Christian values and standing up for those who need support.
