Help for Parents & Carers

Being a parent and looking after a child or children, can be the most amazing experience, but also one of the most challenging. For many reasons a child's behaviour can change, sometimes these changes can cause parents/carers anxiety - not knowing why, or how to help.
What can you do?
- Chat to a friend or family member, know you're not alone. Hearing someone else say don't worry, that's perfectly normal, will usually be enough to put your mind at rest. Often the change is a result of something transient (feeling unwell, a change in environment - house move/class teacher) and will pass on its own.
- Speak to professionals: teachers/GP
- Research on the internet
