Our focus book 'Hidden Figures,' supports our Place and Time topic of 'The Space Race.' Our stunning starter will be a Rocket launch challenge which will allow us to experience the competitive challenges that the Space Race brought.
Our main platform for communication with parents continues to be Class Dojo so do use this to post messages to your child's teacher. You can also continue to upload photos of your child's work through their Dojo portfolio. We all love seeing what the children are up to at home & photos are a great tool for evidencing homework so please do keep using!
Any issues connecting or accessing these platforms, do let your child's teacher know. We also welcome any feedback as we look to improve our systems so please do get in touch.
Please note that KS2 gates will be open from 8:45am and children should come onto the playground where they can then go straight into class. Parents may come onto the school playground but we ask that you drop off and leave rather than hang about. This is to continue to support our COVID measures and we will review this as the year goes on. Children should be collected at 3:15pm from the classroom at the end of day.
School equipment needed from home:
Please remember, children should not be bringing pencil cases, toys, cards etc to school. Please ensure children have an outdoor coat and wellies in school at all times. These can stay in school as long as they are labelled of this makes things easier.
On PE days, children should continue to come to school dressed in kit. For Year 6, PE days are Wednesday's with an additional Friday session for the Autumn term.
